on the bluff above the Frio River are available for your vacation.
A great place to enjoy tubing, fishing, cooking out or just relaxing.
There is a large open area for the adults to play volleyball or
pitch horseshoes, while the children enjoy swinging and playing
on the playground. The four cabins will accommodate 40 guest.
Canyon View & Bent River Guest House, ½ mile away will
accommodate an additional 20 guest. Perfect for small family reunions.

Vacationing
on the Frio is an experience many families have carried on from
generation to generation. You are invited to experience
the Frio.
Located
on the bluff above the Frio River, beautiful shade trees and English
Ivy surround the rock stairs leading down to the river. Nestled
among the shade trees below the bluff, is one of this areas largest
cypress trees. This is a calm, quiet place to have lunch or watch
the birds and wildlife. A beautiful area for an evening stroll.
These
Frio River cabins are located down the road from Mager's river
crossing. Just put in at this crossing for a 1 1/2 - 2 hr float
to the bottom of the stairs leading up to the cabins. No waiting
to be picked up.
This
area offers many attractions, such as dancing at Garner State
Park each evening and scenic drives throughout the canyon.
Historic
Uvalde is a short drive away where you may enjoy the Garner
Museum and shopping for antiques.
For
those who want to venture further out, enjoy the scenic drive
to Lost Maples State Park, north of Vanderpool or shopping in
Mexico is only an hour and a half drive.
